Critical Characteristics

You and your team have now done your research on the different roles needed to complete a web design team. It is time to collaborate about your findings.
Create a post on your blog name: Critical Role. On this post you will decide what are the 3 most important characteristics for each role. This is also the time to share with teammates what your role involves and how you plan to contribute to making this a “Perfect Website”
Everyone one on your team should have a good understanding of each role after you have discussed with each other these characteristics. This should take about 30 minutes of class time. After you post, the other 2 in your team can copy and paste the information to their blog.

Individual Roles

It is time to learn what a Information Architect, Graphic Designer, and a Content Manager do. In this Blog, you will name your post: "your individual role". For some of you, this will be Content Manager, others it will be Information Architect, or Graphic Designer. Link back to the Web Quest "On the Cutting Edge" and start researching your web design role. This will require you to read and take notes on what you read. I would suggest using Microsoft Word to take notes. The links provided on the Web Quest are good places to start reading about your role. Some of the links go into a lot of depth. You don't need to read every word. Scan the articles and try and pick out some highlights of what you feel are important. When you get done, post your ideas on your Blog. You should have at least 6 critical characteristics that defines what your web design role is concern with, when creating a web site. Reference at least 3 websites for your 6 CRITICAL characteristics. Make sure your references are live links on your post.

On The Cutting Edge

After viewing the RFP( http://webquest.dpscm.org/cutting_edge/files/index.html ), Create a new Post "On The Cutting Edge" and address theses questions:
Who is requesting this RFP?
Why has Chris called a meeting in the Zone?
How will your team prove that you are the best qualified team to take on this project?
Summarize in a couple of sentences what your 1st step is to accomplish this task.
When describing a good website, Why are descriptive words like; cool, easy, fun, and awesome not good enough to satisfy the CEO of this company?
What does the CEO want and how will you achieve this?
Lastly, Name the individual roles and tell me who on your team is assign to them.
